We charge $3 per pound to pelletize your sheep wool.  (There are additional fees for rocks, metal, or wet wool)
Minimum Order is 10 lbs

How does it work?
Ship us your wool. You can ship 65 lbs or less using USPS, UPS, or Fedex.  If you have larger amounts of wool you can ship using an LTL carrier.

Shipping cost are about $3.50 per pound if shipping the minimum of 10 lbs through USPS.  The shipping cost goes down per pound the more you ship.

We pelletize your wool then invoice you the processing fee plus the shipping back to you.  The shipping rates back to you will be about the same as the cost to ship your wool here, even though the volume will be much less.

You have three different options how you can get your wool back.
Option 1: In Unlabeled plastic bags or in a [tote (if you have over 200 lbs)].
Option 2: In our retail ready 8oz packaging.  These are Registered, Licensed, and organic certified.
Option 3: In our retail ready 22 lb bags.  These are Registered, Licensed, and organic certified.

Our retail ready 8oz packages sell for $13.99
Our retail ready 22 lbs bags sell for $165.00
You should be able to net profit about $3.50 per pound on your wool.

Q&A  about wool processing

Q: If I send 10 lbs of wool, how much wool do I get back?  Or how much loss is there in the process?
A: If you send 10 lbs of wool, you will get 10 lbs of wool pellets back.  There is no loss.

Q: Does my wool need to be skirted and cleaned?
A: No, your wool does not need to be cleaned or skirted.  But please no rocks, metal, or twine in your wool.

Q:  Do you want a lot of manure in the wool?
A:  No, the manure is not what gives the wool value.  If you have some manure in the wool that fine, however if you have big Dags(manure balls) on your wool throw them into your compost piles or garden.  They will take up weight and we can't process them.

Q:  How long does it take to get my wool back as pellets?
A: Usually 2-4 weeks depending on the amount and the season.  Spring is a really busy time, lambing, shearing, planting, and getting orders out so you will need to allow for longer times from February to May.

Q: Do you process Alpaca and wool with hair mixed?
A: Yes, but we need to add some of our wool to that type which will cost you more.  You will get more pounds of pellets back.

Q:  Can I mix the different options on how I get my wool back?
A: Yes.
